[section][row style=”small” col_style=”divided” v_align=”equal” h_align=”center”][col span=”7″ span__sm=”12″][accordion title=”FAQ” auto_open=”true”][accordion-item title=”What is Veterinol?”]

Veterinol is a Slovakian product, made to help treatment of severe and extensive injuries, infected and chronic wounds, minor scratches and erosions not only on the skin, but also on mucous membranes. It is a super oxidized, non-toxic and non-irritating agent in the form of a solution or gel. It is used to clean, moisten and treat wounds (acute and chronic), abscesses, burns and abrasions. It is suitable for all animal species. It helps reducing the microbial load and creating a moist environment in the wound – thanks to which the organism is able to develop its own healing process. The active substance in the preparation perfectly mimics the immune system of animals, so Veterinol does not create resistance.

*Veterinol – does not harm healthy tissues, is non-toxic and does not irritate eyes, ears, respiratory tract, skin or mucous membranes of animals (or the people who treat them). It is safe for repetitive use for pregnant and lactating animals as well as animals intended for human consumption. Veterinol is not harmful to pregnant and lactating women,  is not harmful to the environment and is available without a prescription.

[/accordion-item] [accordion-item title=”How does Veterinol work?”]

One of the main components used by animal’s immune system to destroy pathogens (bacteria, viruses, yeasts, fungi…) is a hypochlorous acid. Together with oxygen forms the active substance of Veterinol. Hypochlorous acid has such an amazing ability to penetrate deep into the body tissues, get in contact with pathogens and effectively destroy them. In doing so, it uses biologically active oxygen, which destroys them by chemical action – oxidation.

Normally, white blood cells produce sufficient amounts of hypochlorous acid. However, in case of weakened immunity, the animal's body is unable to produce sufficient amounts. We can then supplement it externally with Veterinol to speed up the healing process.

[/accordion-item] [accordion-item title=”Can toys, bed and bowls be disinfected with Veterinol?”]

Veterinol will disinfect both the bed and the toys. Our aim is to make our customers understand this and to teach them to maintain hygiene in this way.

It is also suitable using Veterinal for rinsing animal bowls, harnesses, dwellings (cage, aquarium, terrarium). Wide range of use posibilities is also found in animal salons (disinfection of tools and utensils), in pet shops and in dispensaries.

VETERINOL not only disinfects and treats, but also effectively eliminates various odours.

[/accordion-item] [accordion-item title=”What is the difference between gel and spray?”]

The only difference between Veterinol in the form of a gel and a spray is in the practical use. For example, if I want to disinfect a cat's litter box to reduce odour and bacteria, I do it with a spray, not a gel. If I want to disinfect my cat's eye area (warts or similar), as a practical matter, I'll do it with gel.

[/accordion-item] [accordion-item title=”What are the side effects of Veterinol?”]

In chronic and severely infected wounds and abscesses, it is possible to observe an exacerbation of the healing process (a new, reappearance of the disease), followed by a reduction of the inflammatory reaction and a significant improvement in the overall appearance of the wound.

[/accordion-item] [accordion-item title=”For which species of animals is Veterinol suitable?”]

Veterinol is safe for all species of animals, including exotic animals, birds, amphibians and reptiles.

[/accordion-item] [accordion-item title=”Are there any restrictions on use (e.g. age, weight?)”]

As Veterinol is non-toxic and harmless to health, it has no similar limitations. It can help a 20 g fish, but also a 300 kg cow.

[/accordion-item] [accordion-item title=”Can Veterinol be given together with other medicines?”]

Veterinol can be administered together with all types of drugs administered by each route (i.e. there is no contraindication for its application). It is safe for repeated use in pregnant and lactating animals as well as in animals intended for human consumption. It is also suitable for show and competing animals.

[/accordion-item] [accordion-item title=”How is Veterinol applied?”]

Veterinol can be applied by spraying, washing, rinsing, rubbing (in case of gel), or by compresses. Wounds – especially infected ones – should be treated several times a day (at least 3-4 times a day).

It is recommended to flush the wounds with a spray – under the pressure of the solution, dead cells and dirt are removed from the wound. It is then advisable to apply gauze squares soaked in Veterinol solution or Veterinol gel to keep the wound clean, moist and prevent possible contamination from the external environment.

[/accordion-item] [accordion-item title=”How do animals react when treated with Veterinol?”]

Veterinol is tolerated by animals very well, it does not sting and does not hurt them, even when applied to sensitive and sore areas (skin, mucous membranes, eyes, ears). They do not mind the slightly salty taste or the faint smell of chlorine.

In some animals, it may cause discomfort during application, due to the sound stimulus produced when the spray is squeezed. In these cases, we recommend that Veterinol be applied by syringe in the form of a lavage, or with soaked gauze
